Re: Create a playlist from list of song titles?
I just accomplished this using Google Sheets. I put all the titles of the tracks I want in my playlist in column A. I put the paths of all my available tracks in column C. In column B, I put =VLOOKUP("*"&A1&"*", C:C, 1, FALSE). This gave me a list of the full paths of all...

Create a playlist from list of song titles?
Would it be possible to somehow create a playlist from a csv file that contains song titles only?
I know all the songs are in the library, but the csv doesn't contain the absolute paths.

Re: Bunch of my music is suddenly in Dead Links
Anyway, I just completely uninstalled MM5 and reinstalled it. Then I rescanned my library. The dead links are all fixed now. I just resynced my phone, and it added all the missing songs with special characters. Sorry, I don't have the time or energy to collect and send logs properly, but it was defi...

Re: Bunch of my music is suddenly in Dead Links
Well, I got as far as installing the debug version. When I open it, I get these messages, and then it hangs.

Re: Bunch of my music is suddenly in Dead Links
No, special characters are definitely the issue here. Examine these 3 screenshots. MediaMonkey finds every song in the album except those with special characters. The paths are all matching. - Track 07 of Beuna Vista Social Club is the only track in the album with a special character, and MM can't f...

Re: Bunch of my music is suddenly in Dead Links
I just noticed a common thread. Nearly all of these 345 files have special characters in their tag info (see image). Like characters with umlauts (ä). But, again, this is not new. I've always had these in my library.

Re: Bunch of my music is suddenly in Dead Links
Nope, MediaMonkey doesn't play any of these 345 files. But they are all present in Windows Explorer, and all their paths look correct. Restarting didn't fix it.

Bunch of my music is suddenly in Dead Links
Hey. So I just tried playing a song in MM4 and it couldn't find the file. I went over to the Deal Links section and found that there are 345 songs there! This is sudden. I've listened to this much of this music recently and I haven't changed anything. I'm looking in my Windows folders, and the music...

Re: Is Device Sync with MM for Android 2-way?
Ah. I figured it out.
There's a setting on the phone: Auto-sync device content. Unchecked by default. Had to be enabled. Works now.

Re: Is Device Sync with MM for Android 2-way?
Hmm. I just tried again and it still doesn't work. I have a self-made playlist on my PC called "Relax". If I add a song to it, then sync my phone, the new track appears in the playlist on my phone. However, if I add a track to the playlist on my phone, then sync, the track does not get add...

Re: Is Device Sync with MM for Android 2-way?
How about testing it? Set a playlist, change things on both ends and look what happens? 😉 Spoiler: Yes, it is 2 ways, at least for "non Auto-Playlist". Never tried to change a playlist in MMA that comes from a Auto-Playlist in MMW, i would guess that doesn't sync back to MMW. Haha. Well, ...

Is Device Sync with MM for Android 2-way?
I know that if I update or edit a playlist on windows and sync with my phone, the playlist on the phone will be updated.
Does it work the other way around? If I add a song to a playlist on my phone, next time I sync it, will that change be mirrored on my computer?

[REQ] Conditional Crossfades
Crossfades are nice if you're playing a playlist.
Not so much if you're playing an album.
Rather than constantly toggling it, it should be smart enough to know if the next track is part of the same album.
I believe in MM4 there was a plugin for this called ForgetCrossFades or something like that.
