Re: are there any MM features requiring an internet connection?
You should be aware that it is possible to initiate a web browser session from it as well. I can't tell you exactly how right now because, 1 - I only accidentally do it myself occasionally and 2 - my whole system is down because of preparations made in regard to wildfires and the possibility of evac...

Re: Mouse
On the skin I'm using, Blue Glass, the volume will adjust with the scroll wheel in any portion of the player and not just the volume bar. So, you can give that a try as well. Mileage may vary with skin.

Re: Ripping multiple disc sets
Also, when you name the CDs like that, be consistent in the format. If you name the first disc, "CD1", then the second shouldn't be something like "CD 2" or even "Disc 2". The reason for this is that it will throw the order out of whack because of the alphabet/number/space/symbol hierarchy that comp...

Re: MM4 Keeps Stealing File Association Icons
So, I checked my MM on a XP machine for the checkbox you are talking about. Below is an image of the only thing I could find to which you may be referring, which is the check box regarding re-associating file types on start up. I know there isn't this box in Win10 MM. I still think this is a Windows...

Re: MM4 Keeps Stealing File Association Icons
I believe this is a Windows issue. With Win10, all file associations are handled (hijacked, you might say) by Windows. There is a way to change the icon for a file type. Here is an article regarding this matter. The article mentions this software from NIrsoft. So, this may get you the result you want.

Re: Quality Album Art Websites
I wasn't sure about Album Art Exchange. Wasn't familiar with it. I guess it comes down to that and the idea of signing up for one more thing. Maybe I will check them out. I do have a scanner, but it is a bit inconvenient to use when I am trying to deal with album art. Thanks dypsis.

Re: Quality Album Art Websites
So, Google search by image has changed. There are no longer any image dimensions when you hover over the image. The dimensions will be displayed when you click on the image within the side panel that opens for that selected image. Image search just got harder. Good thing I just finished my image upd...

Re: Renaming something in the node.
Thanks Lowlander. I was renaming it in the "Location" node. I renamed it using "BeEst" as per your recommendation, which stuck. That change was also reflected in Windows Explorer. Then I changed it to "Best". Now it is the way I want it. Computers, go figure. Sometimes they are like little kids and ...

Renaming something in the node.
I have an issue that is a gnawing at me. There is a folder that I try to rename. https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/49557421686_1fed2c5587_m.jpg As you can see, the "BE" is not right. I choose "rename" and make it "Be" but it just won't stick! I don't know what is going on with that. When I look at...

Re: Folder (Move)
Thanks Lowlander. Sorry for getting back so long afterwards. Been busy with other things. You know, life. I went back and tried this again. Here is what I figured out that worked for me. First off, I couldn't do the cut and paste in the "My Computer" node of the tree. When I tried that, I would lose...

Re: Quality Album Art Websites
I have used the Fanart site. The Album art exchange requires a registration, it seems. All of their art is watermarked in a google search. A couple of sites I use besides google image search is https://www.covermytunes.com/ and I also look for an album page on Pandora . The art work there is normall...

Folder (Move)
I use a folder structure that goes as follows, a folder named "A" for the "A" artists, "B" for the "B" artists, etc. As I have added music to my library, I have found that some of the folders get quite a few sub-folders in them. Now, I have broken down the main folders to account for this. See the i...

Re: Backup 6.0 - Updated 01/07/2014
I went through quite a bit of this thread but I didn't see anything that comes near answering my question about this add on. I just started using this and set it up to do a back up onto my NAS. My question is, will the restore script work if it is located on the NAS? It would seem that it would need...
