Just rename the .fla files to .flac and it works fine. My computer recognizes .fla as a flash file! :o

None of the above.

I like it for it's management ability. Easy to fix the tags. I also like how it can handle large libraries. 65k songs and MM chugs along.

Album Art Quality

I have pretty much most of my music with album art externally. But some of it is lower quality 200x200. I like it at a minimum 300x300. It seems that when I ran WMP it changed alot of my album art. Is there a good script to find the lower quality art and update it with better quality?

In the ideal world, a music player would have 500 gb so it could hold my collection so I don't have to pick and choose.

But say in a folder I have the cover image saved as "folder.jpg" and maybe the insert image saved as "cd-insert.jpg" it will sometimes display this image instead. It is just frustrating...

You can use SoulSeek for ONLY indie music that does not have copy rights preventing sharing! It is a nice program for music fans to share music. Any band that doesn't want you to share their music isn't worth listening to. If they are good they will get enough to get by, but maybe not enough to buy ...

The EDITING is better i MM: * The batch editing is better * The way you can open one file/id3 and then skip to the next (in WMP11 you need to close the file and open the next one...) * Basically no restrictions in MM * AND MM doesn't edit stuff on it's own that you don't want it to BUT the result o...

Album art is supported, so that's taken care off. It just misses integrated album art browser, but there is a script that can do it. As for the tree you can still use it by typing the location you want to go to. Other option is using the search, which works the best for me on a large library. You a...

Just a comment to a post earlier. MM choose Cover.jpg over Folder.jpg I have wasted a lot of time with that issue. I could understand Cover.jpg being used if MediaMonkey was a multi platform software, but I cannot understand why cover is used on a Windows Only system. Windows use Folder.jpg, and th...

Cover Flow

As some of you may know I have been awaiting for MM to implement a album art viewer into its player. One that can handle a 3000+ album collection (the script is GREAT but still some quirks). I have a feeling this is going to be in version 3. But I have a new question. I have been looking at the 'Cov...

I've been saying from the start that Microsoft would be entering the DAP (digiatl audio player) market for years. Due to people getting use to the idea of Apple and moving their desktops from Windwos to MacOS. So finally MS has brought their competitor to the market. Zune, practically a repackaged T...
