If I remember correctly, the X5 doesn't support ID3 tags. I haven't been in the DAP scene for a while so they may of added this within the last 6 months. My old hangout, www.DAPreview.net has excellent reviews with some very creative people that might also be able to help you out. If the tags have t...

If there was like an batch tagger for genres that would be great. But doing them by hand I would prefer the k.i.s.s method. Detailed genres is superior but requires more time.

Re: Genres, oh yipee...

    • Rock
      • Rock, Classic Rock
        Rock, Alternative
        Rock, Hard
        Rock, Metal.
        Oldies,
        R&B,
        Disco,

Not sure if I would agree with the last part. I can not mentally put Disco, R&B or some Oldlies into Rock. Maybe it is because I am young.

But if I want to alter the ID3 tags but not want to delete the files. Or try to fix a naming mistake. Etc. I just don't like how easy it is to delete files. Although, MediaMonkey does one of the best jobs of any music software to prevent this. But it would be a great option and probably wouldn't req...

Option to disable the program for deleting songs

To be able to disable MediaMonkey from having access to actually physically deleting a file. Just like a simple check box. That way if it is needed just check the box. Seems simple enough.
