Re: Eclipse 3 v.3.0.0.1 [MM4skin] 26.01.2012
Thanks, DreamM That did it. Turns out the settings won't work if the colour codes are the same, so I only changed one. It was acting weird, I couldn't simply make a small change, so I had to look at similar shades with much different codes to get it working. Anyway, I ended up using this: [Search] [...

Re: Eclipse 3 v.3.0.0.1 [MM4skin] 26.01.2012
Hi,
Love the skin, however I've come across one problem.
When I try to use the search bar, no queries are returned.
It's like I'm just typing in to a text box and no search is being performed.
Any advice?
Happy holidays!
Thanks

Re: Would having two external HDs of music create a problem?
There is no limitations that would be caused due to fault of MediaMonkey. The only reason why it would be slower is because when a hard drive (external especially) is not accessed in a while, the disk spins down and has to spin up again before the files on it can be read. So MM will let you use it w...

Re: Previous Track button restarts the song
So is this something I can disable?
If not, might I request this to be something that could be disabled/enabled as the user wishes to use in later releases.

Re: Is there a way to level volume of non-MP3 files?
So far, I've found it doesn't work with .wav and .ape files
Not working with .ape files seems ironic of MediaMONKEY

Previous Track button restarts the song
This happened after I updated from MM 4.0.5 to 4.0.6 In v4.0.6, if I'm listening to a song that's elapsed at least 5 seconds, when I press the Previous Track button, the song will start from the beginning again. It will only actually go to the previous track if I hit back before the first few second...

Re: Sharing between Mediamonkeys?
Right, so I checked, and I think I know how to do it now. However, this only works if both computers are on with MM running at the same time and of course they'd have to be connected to the same network. Open MediaMonkey on both computers. On your laptop's MM, on the Media Tree pane (on the left by ...

Here, have a look at Joker's reply:

Note the difference between "level playback volume" and "level track volume". I think you're after 'level track volume'.

Re: perfect MM4 skins now look wrong
I had a similar problem, I posted about it. Ultimately, it came down to settings of the skin as programmed by the devloper.
Just try the steps from Nohitter in this post, should sort it for you.

Re: Sharing between Mediamonkeys?
Unless if I'm mistaken, the Media Sharing feature doesn't allow you to add shared files to the library like that. At least I don't think it's possible, I haven't tried. I'll have a go tomorrow and let you know.

Re: Sharing between Mediamonkeys?
The 'Media Sharing' feature only allows devices (ie your laptop) access to your desktop's media. It does not mean that the files are being transferred to the laptop, at least not permanently. If you want to transfer your library, then I'd suggest you get an external hard drive of some sort and copy ...
