FLAC to AAC not playing on iPod after sync
So I've had some issues getting my iPod Classic 80 GB to play tracks I've synced onto it with MM. Due to a request on my other help topic, I upgraded to debug version 4.1.0.1619 in hopes that it would work better. It hasn't. My music library is made up of mostly FLAC files, AAC files purchased from ...

Re: No CBR for MM Codec Pack + Troubles with iPod Sync
Thanks for your quick reply. =)
So what is the difference between choosing m4a and aac? Also you convinced me CBR isn't the best. Would you recommend ABR or VBR then?

No CBR for MM Codec Pack + Troubles with iPod Sync
So I finally decide after a few months of purchasing MM4 Gold with the codec pack to let MM handle my iPod Classic. I was nervous at first and then discovered the joy of sitting back and watching it encode my tracks to m4a and send them to my iPod without having to keep two copies of my favorite son...

Re: Volume leveling/replay gain for Flac
Normalizing a file, if there's peak protection, does not reduce the quality of the song to my knowledge. Plus I get a lot of music from small labels that aren't always mastered the best and when I DJ with the files and one song is incredibly softer than the other, it sounds really off.

Re: Volume leveling/replay gain for Flac
It only calculates the gain it won't permanently normalize the file, giving an error that it's not an MP3.

Re: Vision Skin v 2.0.0.0 (07.01.2012)
LOVE the skin! It is by far my favorite. My only issue is that when I press CTRL so that I can click and highlight multiple tracks it throws an exception and has crashed a few times. I like the skin so much that I've been changing to another to do my playlists and selecting multiple tracks to tag a...

Re: Volume leveling/replay gain for Flac
And 7 years later, I would like to see this feature too. Only being able to level MP3 files is rather frustrating. I think most professional people who work with audio don't mess with lossy audio if they can help it; much less MP3s. If lossless volume leveling was available in the pro version of MM,...

Re: list index out of bounds
I did restart it but it eventually happens again. It always seems to be on that one file though.. that doesn't exist the way it's named. I think it's tied to that.
I have RegEx Find & Replace installed and some skins downloaded from MM.

Re: list index out of bounds
Hi, I'm starting to get this issue too. It happens when I open a track properties and try to change anything. What is odd if I open a selection of tracks from the same album, all the fields are blank in properties. When I put anything in any field, this error pops up: http://i.imgur.com/NqzJ4.png Th...

Re: Does built-in encoder verify?
What you're referring to is the warning dialogs that ask if you're sure you want to do something. I was asking if MediaMonkey, after a conversion, compares the audio contents of the converted file against the original file to ensure it occurred error free before deleting the original file. This is f...

Does built-in encoder verify?
Hi all. I am a proud new owner of MM4 Gold and I've been using dB Power Amp for batch conversion of wav files to FLAC and I loved the auto-leveling and file verification built into dB Power Amp. My concern was while MM4 has the leveling while converting, it doesn't have an option for verifying the c...

Re: Vision Skin v 2.0.0.0 (07.01.2012)
This is by far my favorite skin. I would like to see a dark blue version of it like the old Blue Glass skin in that shade. I really like the design of this one though. I also wish that the text in the tree and the song listings wasn't gray as I use my own BMP backdrops. What is this text called in t...

Isn't it silly that it's one of the things making me question updating to gold? XD
