"Album Artis (Year)" node in Collection Options?

Would someone be able to shed some light on this for me? If I go to edit the criteria for one of my libraries (or "collections") there is a node in the tree nodes tab for "Album Artist (Year)". But it seems to have no effect on that collections tree nodes. I have the Date field filled in for every a...

Hmm... The Micro SD cards seem to jump from 8G to 32G. Anyone have a fancy 16G SD card image lying around? Much appreciated...

Re: Import XMCD 1.2 [MM2+3]

Just an FYI. A friend of mine (at my request, and with the authors permission) has written a modified version of this script titled "Import XMCD Plus". It includes some rather handy refinements. I have posted it here in case anyone else is interested in using it.

Archive your vinyl collection in MM with Import XMCD Plus...

Hi folks. I've been looking for a way to archive my vinyl record collection in Media Monkey along with the rest of my music. There didn't seem to be a solution out there until I ran across a post (which I cannot seem to locate now - sorry) that suggested a variation of the "Import XMCD" script by tr...

Using Trixmoto's "Import XMCD" script to archive vinyl...

Hi folks. I ran across an old post (which I can't seem to locate now) indicating that this script might be helpful in creating MM library entries for other media collections where there are no audio files on the HD. Just a reference to the album and tagging info. I installed the last version (1.2) i...

Re: Auto Tag from Amazon

Same as above for me. I was going to wait for MM4 official release to install it, but jumped the gun when I saw this thread. Still "No Results". I'm sure they're working on it - but I hate waiting... 8)

Re: Archiving movie library with MM3?

Thanks nohitter. What I'm actually trying to do is create a reference to the movies in my collection. Not actually archive the movies themselves. Ideally I'd like to be able to scan a DVD case with a usb scanner, and have software fetch the basic movie info from an online database (title, cover art,...

Archiving movie library with MM3?

Hi folks. I found a couple of very vague references to this, but they didn't go into any detail. I don't rip my dvd's to my PC, but I would like to keep a log of everything for reference. I get the idea that this can be done within MM, but have no idea how to go about it. Is this similar to the noti...

It seems unlikely - but would this be some sort of buffer issue?

Re: Another gapless playback thread...

Playback is gapless in WMP (v12.x), and in XMPlay. But not in MM or VLC player. I was just getting ready to drop a couple of wav files on my mp3 player to see how they performed. I'm not sure if this gap or "jump" is transferred when moving to portable media players, or even if burning a home made d...

Re: Another gapless playback thread...

I hate to be overly persistent - but does anyone have any more info on this? From what I've read there are some folks with similar issues even when using MM4. I'm really not sure what to think or where to begin trouble shooting.

Re: Another gapless playback thread...

Again - thank you nohitter. Your suggestions were covered in another thread though, and they either had no effect, or made things worse. If this hasn't been a problem across the board I'd have to wonder if it's MM at all. Maybe something else in my system? I run MM on two machines though (XP & Win7)...

Re: Another gapless playback thread...

Thanks for the quick reply nohitter. The issue I'm having is with tracks that do not have silence between them. There's a jump or skip in the transition. I'm not even sure that it qualifies as a gap to be honest. In any case - I was reading several threads from folks who had the same issue, and coul...
