Building a new DB

I am putting in a 5.1 alpha release portable. Scanning my 1tbdrive but am getting a track every 7-10 seconds. Seems to be very very slow. Thoughts on what could be causing the speed problem. it is the only thing running on my computer

Thanks ... that fixed it. Didn't even remember putting that addon on my MM. Not sure why it is interfering with base behavior ... bad bad addon.

Hi Lowlander ... not wifi sync. I found an article in Help for wifi sync and although it is different from current images (for example there is no OPTIONS menu item in mma) i extrapolated enough to get MM5 to recognize MMA. Things are downloading and I hope all is well. Thanks for the quick response...

could someone point me to the HowTo connect with MMA. I thought I had found it but did not. MM5 does not recognize my new phone Samsung S23 ... so pointers for that would be greatly appreciated also. Been a very long time.

Just got a new phone and it downloaded all my apps. I wanted to try and set up MMA to sync but it is telling me I can use it for 30 minutes at a time. How do i get it to recognize that I already have bought it?

I ran into a problem with AlbumArt being viewed in Centova Cast. I have the Albumart stored in the ID3v1 and ID3v2.3 tag as png, and Centova cast uses ID3v1 tags with jpeg AlbumArt. Is there a way to convert these ID3 tags to use jpeg? As mentioned not in MMW but get Ifranview ... it is a free grap...

menu item File -> Add/Rescan files to library (or press the Insert key i think)
