Re: Automated Mood Classification
Maybe my request is too ambitious. Like I said, I don't have a background in anything useful, but I just figured if they had come up with these theses several years ago that there must be some kind of software or way to do it. Maybe the platform needs to be created on its own or something.

Re: Automated Mood Classification
I don't agree that a per album mood would be useful. I don't really see a point to something so broad. Even songs within the same album have a different feel, subject, beat, way that they affect your mood, etc. Personally, that mood script is not something I am interested in. Unfortunately, I think ...

Automated Mood Classification
The moods given by MediaMonkey are not comprehensive enough. A program that would analyze the songs or the lyrics to categorize the tracks in multiple and specific moods. Music/pshycology majors have made some thesis projects based on these ideas, but the programs they created are not widely availab...

Re: Add Customs to Categories
Basically, I like a lot of different kinds of music, but it really depends on my mood and a lot of the time I'm in the mood for a specific kind of sound. That is why I like pandora. So, I tried to tag my music very specifically. I used to have iTunes, so I used the comments section. I rated a song 1...

Re: Add Customs to Categories
@tecnojnky - I already use the mood, tempo, occasion, and quality fields. @Lowlander - I used genrefinder to import tags from last-fm users into a few of the custom fields based on specific criteria for each of the customs. But the criteria I used was broad because they are all user generated and th...

Add Customs to Categories
The nodes for categories are able to be edited easily. For example, if you have multiple "moods" for each song (separated by ;.) you can expand the mood tree and delete each individual node that you do not want in the mood category and it will be deleted from each individual song that it w...

Re: Advanced Duplicate Find & Fix 3.7.4 (2010-08-21)
Thank you for creating this script, it is exactly what I'm looking for after accidentally copying most of my music before editing half of it. I have installed the script and am having a little trouble. The only nodes that come up are "Find More from Same, Search Result (0)" which branches ...

Re: Pandora window
Nice work. I use Pandora a lot because I like a lot of different types of music, but am usually only in the mood for specific ones at any given time. I think the best script would be if you could somehow link your library to Pandora's database and get the information for the songs in your library so...
