Setting an artist/album to search online.

For some reason I only discovered the online search recently. When I finally found it, it was great, no problems.
Then suddenly it disappeared. I've got it back but it doesn't work at all. Any ideas as to what I'm doing wrong?

Thanks. MM5, MAPro, WiFi, and it's in the phone.
I hoped deleting MA and reinstalling would fix it, but it didn't. I don't understand the sync question however as I haven't tried to sync to my phone.

I think I put it badly. I want to use the SD card for storage of my music files, not the phone's internal storage.

I've just installed a Santander SD card but I can't get the tracks on it and I don't have enough space on my phone's internal memory.

I'll have to go the sync route. The old hard drive was wiped - in fact we thought it was defective, but I'm no longer sure that it is. Thanks all.

I was wrong in saying my Huawei MMA had no playlist, all the songs on it are in the playlist that I lost when moving to MM5. I want to restore that playlist so that I can export it to another Android phone. MM5 at the moment has no playlists. Obviously I don't want to move the actual music files bac...

I exported a playlist to an Android phone from MM4. It doesn't show up as a playlist in MM on the phone. (note that I discovered that this is wrong after I posted, all the songs on my Huawei phone are in my "energy" playlist - music to walk fast. I upgraded to MM5 and then replaced my hard...

Or to be exact, I'm replacing my hard disk with a new SSD one so need to move it the new drive. I have both cloud backup and a Maxtor external drive that I can use. I've moved my music to both and some MM5 files to the Maxtor.

I tried reinstallin iTunes, no joy.
My iPod is an Apple replace, refurbished by them, which I restored from backup. I restored again from backup today (the same backup) andit works now!.
