Well, with a sample size of 1, just backing up the device does not delete the music.

But now, when I sync the phone in itunes to back it up, all the music is removed. Haven't changed any itunes settings, but have tried several times and each time the music is gone. (I do have the "manually manage music" box checked in itunes) I hope you mean that it's a temporary solution...

I don't use itunes for anything but backing up my phone and ipad. Is a fix in the queue?

Uninstalled itunes after I got an alert in MM about not using the Windows store version.

Found the latest 64 bit version, uninstalled the one I had and installed the download.

Back up and running.

Did get itunes to recognize the device, but MM still doesn't.

rebooted after itunes started working, restarted the iphone.

Didn't work for me. I installed 1912 and now my itunes library is "unavailable"

Update: Tried to add 182 mp3's to my iphone SE this morning. 1.5 hours later it's still working (at #118 of 182..)

1889 installed.

Update 10/10/19: 1891 seems to have fixed the speed issue.

DL'd and installed 1889,

Was able to sync my iphone SE with no problems or delay.

I can't just install it over the beta can I?

If I uninstall the beta, I imagine I'll lose all my playlists which is how I've been syncing.

But that's OK< I can reinstall them.

I wanted to synch my iPhone and was told that it would. It does, but I would much rather get back to your plugin. Bulletproof!
