Re: MM5 Views and View Types [#18085]
But is it also intended that the settings are changed even when you exit the edit mode with "cancle"? Im my eyes this makes absolutely no sense and I messed up my (rather complex) setting at least 10 times until I understood that I must never enter the edit mode if I do not want to lose my...

Re: MM5 Views and View Types [#18085]
I am basically having the same issue and I believe that there actually is a combination of unintuitive behaviour with a real bug: - I can define and name a custom view and I can also apply it to different track lists. The settings I make are preserved when restarting MM5 (v. 5.0.1). This works for t...

Artwork look-up from Internet
Hi Automatic look-up of artwork is a nice feature. Most of my CD rips are rare recordings and usually no artwork is available online at all. I can live with that but MM5 apparently not: it shows random artwork from the internet with no connection to the recording. When I remove it, it will come back...

mp2 support in MM5
Hi I did some preliminary testing of MM5 version 5.0.0.2201 Beta today. My collection consists of 54,000 plus recordings, mostly in mp2 format, my MM4 database is ca. 500 MB. The conversion of the MM4 database went smoothly and quite fast as well. MM5 looks great and I very much like it's search opt...

Re: Auto Play List with SQL SELECT command
Already requested. You can still achieve this in MediaMonkey, but with a bit more work. You'll need multiple playlists and reference between them to do AND and OR. Yes, indeed - I discovered the posibility of cross referencing playlists just today. However, I would still like to maintain my request...

Auto Play List with SQL SELECT command
Hi I find the possibilities in MM to define criteria for autoplaylists and collections rather limited. If I am not mistaken you can either have A and B and C... or A or B or C... Something like (A or B) and C is not possible. At least for those who can write their own SQL statements it would be extr...

time not displayed correctly for files >= 100 min [#8608]
Hi In MM4 build 1451 (and previous versions) the played/remaining time is not shown correctly for files >= 100 min - e.g. the player shows "2:49/113:45" instead of "112:49/113:45" (played time/ total time, when 112:49 min were played) or "3:45/113:45" instead of "-...

Re: [1412] WASAPI Exclusive Mode [#8294]
Sopito, have you also tried what Sesam suggested above, i.e.: Disabling "event driven exclusive mode" fixed that problem for me. Jiri Hi It re-tested all of the above with MM4 build 1436. Disabling "event driven exclusive mode" in fact now fixes the problem of slow playback afte...

Re: [1412] WASAPI Exclusive Mode
Hi I am using a Benchmark USB DAC1 and I can fully confirm the observation by colazivi including all details. Changing something in advanced settings does not help. I posted a similar problem already some months ago: exclusive mode only worked when the propper audio format was selected. The "au...

views of playlists
Hi Just a few questions: When I create a normal playlist I can chose the view of one of my root nodes for it (seems to work properly). 1.) Is there any such option for auto playlists? I could not find one. 2.) Is the view of an autoplaylist totally independent from other views? 3.) What is the defau...

Re: 1349: fails to play certain mp2 files [#3215]
I think, it should be in Addons - Input/Output, but version for testing I can give you here then. Could you upload me some MP2 file with 5.1 sound and PM me the link? E.g. via yousendit.com. Thanks. Meanwhile I found out that mp2 actually does not support 5.1. Still I believe there must be some iss...

duplicate root nodes
Hi as you can see on the following screenshot I sometimes get duplicate or even triplicate entries for the "entire library" with MM4 1349 http://img684.imageshack.us/i/multiplelibraryentries.jpg/. In Options - Library - Mediatree the additional media tree items have no label (only the firs...

Re: 1344: Clicking around in Track Browser can result in bla
I still can, it requires random clicking in the Track Browser including All in the first column. My layouy is Genre, Album, Album. Hi I can confirm this issue in MM4 1349. See the following screen shot: http://img822.imageshack.us/i/columnbrowser.jpg/. In this example the Artist column is not refre...
