How to stream from the cloud
External hard drives have become cumbersome and with a 600 GB collection, I think its time to move my music to a cloud service. My question is if I load all of my music onto Amazon Cloud, can I stream it to media monkey effectively? Seems they want me to use the Amazon cloud player and I am having d...

Re: Error on upgrade
Is there any way to rebuild the database without losing all of the playlists that I have put together?

Re: MM4 review: "From great to terrible?"
I don't really understand the constant squabbling about the interface. There is a skin out there for nearly everyone. There are also numerous add-ons/scripts out there that improve the interface. I mean, they basically leave it in your hands to customize as you please. How much time are you spending...

Re: New house: need some speaker advice
Excellent information guys. I really appreciate the input. I think what you said windcrest77 is probably what I will be doing. I was trying to avoid all the wires but I suppose it is the best option when you take into account all the factors. It is also much more price effective. Seems like anything...

Re: New house: need some speaker advice
I checked out that logitech and it looks intriguing. I was skeptical though at that price if the wireless capability of it would be strong enough to reach my basement. Any opinions? Haven't seen the audioengine speakers before but I will definitely check those out. One thing I do want to emphasize i...

Re: New house: need some speaker advice
Thanks Peke. I will have to invest in a good receiver that allows you to control the zones. Already checking into it. Any good quality wireless speaker systems out there to avoid having to wire the house?

Re: New house: need some speaker advice
Thanks rovingcowboy. I have to admit that sending the signal through my cars radio never occured to me. Was curious if there are any decent wireless systems out there where you can plug a USB transmitter or something into your computer to transmit sound to wireless speakers throughout the house. Hav...

New house: need some speaker advice
Hi guys, I figured I would put the wealth of knowledge in this forum to some good use. I just bought a new house and am contemplating the most price effective way to achieve music throughout the house. The house has an upstairs with a small social space/entryway where I would like to set the music u...

Re: Intelligent music player
Why don't use just use a script such as the similar artists script (that works similarly to itunes genius feature)? I think it does a fantastic job of playing what I want to hear at that moment without having to mess with autoplaylists or choosing songs myself. Of course, it doesn't read my mind and...

Windows 7 w/ MM minimized
I am having trouble getting MM to display the way I want when it is minimized. In Windows 7, when I minimize MM it goes down to the left side of the taskbar. By dragging my mouse over it I can see album info and whatnot. I want to get rid of this but don't know how because it seems to be a Windows 7...

Re: Pop Up info
Hmm. Then I suppose I could just turn the pop up info off and use a mini/micro player that doesn't display album art.

Re: Rescanning tracks very slow
Ahhhhh! I knew I was missing something! Thanks a ton Lowlander. I just reinstalled MM and the "analyze for duplicate tracks" box must have been rechecked upon reinstall.
