no, not always, but depending on some other operations I did before or I do in the same time. for example changing loudness of songs. In the moment I can't say exactly when it occures and when not. 2. MM should read information from tags by rescanning them (File | Add/rescan...) But it doesn't work as need. OK, it's not e feature request, but a bug report: bug: Add/rescan doesn't allways rescan changed tag information aspected: it should detect all tag changes about freedb vs. amazon or music...

normaly in the status bar the progress of some operations is shown (renaming, changing loudness, ...) after using ^R for renaming files for a set of files the status bar doesn't change to "idle" (I mean: no process should be displayed), but it looks like if the renaming is still in progres...
