Re: Custom Report 2.7 - Updated 14/11/2010
thanks trixmoto, i tried installing advanced report, but have a similar problem as others do where it doesn't show up in MM (i'm running win 7 pro x64). In any case, yeah, sounds like your advanced report sets up a clickable html file - i'm just looking to produce something nice i can send to someon...

Re: Custom Report 2.7 - Updated 14/11/2010
Hi There, I'd like to run a report which gives me an html file with album art, artist name and album name each in a column, and with track names in the last column. However, I don't want multiple copies of the album art, artist name or album name. That is, I'd like to have the track names grouped un...

Re: Library split between My Music and Music
all the files work. (and a legitimate question might then be: why the hell do you care if MM thinks they're in different locations? the answer: well, it's kind of a pain on the odd occassion where i do have to browse by location. More than anything, though, it irks me to have the library split like ...

Re: Library split between My Music and Music
@teknojnky: it's the latter - my files are in one place, but mm thinks they are in two. I could re-scan - guess i'm just hesitant as i don't know what info is stored in the catalog and what is stored in the files themselves. Lowlander suggested I re-scan, and then use a Restore script to get my play...

Re: Library split between My Music and Music
hmm, it doesn't find them with the Locate Moved/Missing function. A bit strange I suppose. So I take it there's no easy way to do a search-replace in the db, eh?

Re: Library split between My Music and Music
perhaps i'm not being clear enough here. There's only one mm database. But that database has some songs registered in the My Music folder, and other songs registered in the Music library directory. Is there no way to run a script that will, for example, change all occurrences of "C:\documents a...

Re: Library split between My Music and Music
It *is* in the same location. Both those paths point to the same physical location on disk. It's just that Windows 7 has implemented "libraries" now, which makes this issue crop up in the first place.
So, the question remains...

Library split between My Music and Music
Hi Folks, I migrated to Windows 7 a while back. It now seems that all the music i had previously added to the library are recognized as being under "c:\documents and settings\username\My Documents\My Music", whereas all my more recently added music is under "c:\Users\username\Music&qu...

Re: script to slowly fade volume after raising it?
indeed there is - but i don't always want to abide by it. ;-) Actually, i'm listening on my laptop as I work, so while i'm sure there's some app that would allow me to limit my volume, i actually do want to crank it sometimes. Just that i want it to slowly go back down in volume afterwards if i forg...
