Well, I just converted a file to my harddrive, and it went much quicker, and actually ate up my cpu, so there must be a problem with the palm connection. apologies for the apparently false alarm.

Hi All, MM seems to be converting and resampling files slowly on my machine. I don't have the figures with me right now - i can time the tasks later if necessary. Basically, it's taking me all day (about 10 hours or so) to convert 258 songs to 96kbps mp3's and sync them to my palm. I've had problems...
