I think that this issue is different as unlike Dryst's issue, this involves casting. So a debug log could help.

To summarize the current status: , https://www.ventismedia.com/mantis/view.php?id=17638 has been fixed i.e. users can now disable any traffic that is not obviously user-initiated.

#20489 remains open to track the feature request for a single setting to block traffic.

And to answer your question: to create a debug log, you have to start running DebugView prior to launching MediaMonkey. So yeah, it'll probably be a very large log file
