updating to MM 3.2.4

I've had MM set to autoupdate but it hasn't updated since 3.2.2 so I will do it manually. I have a gold membership. In your instructions you say, " If you are upgrading from a previous version of MediaMonkey Gold, simply install the standard version--your licensing information will be retained ...

Sony Walkman NWZS545RED 16 GB Video MP3 Player

MediaMonkey (God bless it) worked flawlessly in syncing to my new Sony Walkman NWZS545RED 16 GB Video MP3 Player. The Walkman is a very reasonably priced (Amazon $108) alternative to the wretched iPod that I've been fighting with for years. I just wish that Sony would add a 32 GB version as I'm alre...

Is this still true? I don't have anything like "DBName" in the MediaMonkey.ini file.

I'm trying to accomplish the same thing as the original poster. Thanks.

Re: Scan for tracks not in playlist

Well until someone jumps in with a good answer, I'll tell how I did it (until I find the good answer). It's rather klunky but works. Go through each playlist and set one of your blank tag fields (like comments 5 or something) for all the songs/files to "In playlist." After you've done all ...

Happy as a clam with MediaMonkey

I've been wrestling with my audio files and trying to update them, clean them up, organize them and then copy them to my new Samsung cell phone, all 12 gb of them. That's when I remembered that once back in the dark ages I had used MediaMonkey so I downloaded it to my new computer and then remembere...

Re: Unofficial but very helpful iPod/iTunes/MediaMonkey Hints

You know, I LOVE MediaMonkey almost as much as I disklike ITunes ..... but I'd never be able to work my way through those directions. Not that they aren't VERY GOOD directions, I'd just meltdown halfway through.... I did it the blundering way and I managed to get MediaMonkey to put the music on the ...

Re: not enough space

Thanks for posting that answer! It saved my life. I'm trying to set up a Sansa Fuze with MM and so far, so good. MM is a great program ..... so far. I'm sure I'll be back with further questions and further praise for MM. Thanks for providing great answers and a searchable databse to find the answers.
