Re: Import reads some mp3 files, but not others in same folder

I was using the Entire Library > Location node to begin with when I wrote my initial post. That's why it was such a head scratcher. Accessing the files from "My Computer" solved my immediate issue of being able to edit the metadata, but I am still at a loss as to why MM imports some of the...

Re: Import reads some mp3 files, but not others in same folder

Yes. I see all the files there and I can play files that MM failed to import.

Import reads some mp3 files, but not others in same folder

I have folders with entire audiobooks (multiple CDs ripped) in a single folder. They have a consistent naming convention. They were all ripped at the same session using the same settings. Media Monkey (4.1.30) imports SOME of the files, but not others. Ex I have a 6 CD rip of "Predictably Irrat...

Thanks for the confirmation

Lowlander, Thanks for the confirmation of this issue. At least I know that I'm not smoking crack. After some experimentation, I have more detailed information. Yesterday at home I ripped a CD, encoded it to MP3, and did a volume analysis in MM. Just as before some of the files mod date changed, but ...

"Modify Timestamp when Updating Tags" doesn't work

"Modify Timestamp when Updating Tags" doesn't work when performing "Analyze Volume". Scenario: 1) Let's say I have a 10 song album in a folder and I just ripped and mp3 encoded them on Monday July 3. All of the "Date modified" dates are within a few minutes of each othe...

Random after [N] continuous plays

Currently MM's random (shuffle tracks) selects a random track after every play. How about a feature like a radio station's "two-for-Tuesday" which plays two songs in a row from the same artist, then it plays two more from another artist, etc. Rather than selecting a random track after ever...

Thanks. I looked all over for that, but never found it. Perhaps put it somewhere where it is easier to find - maybe on the info page?

Thanks again

MM System techincal - Emulate WinAmp hotkeys

Addendum to the wishlist sticky post: MM - System technical Add user definable hotkeys I suppose the ideal would be user-definable hotkeys with the ability to save config files. I have really come to depend on some of the WinAmp hotkeys that I've been using for years: R - Toggle Repeat S - Toggle Sh...

Version history of MM on mediamonkey.com

Just a basic release version history somewhere on www.mediamonkey.com website. See http://www.winamp.com/player/version_history.php for another example. Be sure to include release date on each version. Example: ------------------------------------------------------------ Version: 2.4.1 Released: 200...

Let the user decide

I agree with the initial poster. The pixelation (moire patterns to be more exact) make my album art look like dookie. Resampling the files would be a "quick and easy" solution to the problem. ("quick and easy" for me because I'm not the one programming it) :) I believe the curren...
