Lock device database

Hey,
is there a possibility to lock the device list? My list is full of USB sticks, storage cards and MP3 players that I connected while MM was running. Because most of them don't have an appropriate title the list gets very confusing.

Thanks.

Re: MM Helper 1.0.1 (Play Date Manager+Advanced Rating+M3U2SPL)

Hey, great. :) You can set different new play counts for different songs. Pressing Return is just to confirm it. I could add this to the button hint. Everytime you hit "Synchronize" the app sets the current date as "Last Synched Date". This is stored in a seperate table of the Me...

Re: MM Helper 1.0.1 (Play Date Manager+Advanced Rating+M3U2SPL)

Hey, ok, I made you a little movie: http://www.troelfdesign.com/mediaplayer/?film=MMPlayDate If I understand you correctly, it should work. Otherwise please describe the problem more. So I took a song, opened the DB and increased the play count by 1 and changed the last played date. The method creat...

Re: MM Helper 1.0.1 (Play Date Manager+Advanced Rating+M3U2SPL)

Hey,
no, don't press the "Refresh..." button. This function corrects the database item by resetting the play count and last play date.
Follow my posted steps and press "Synchronize"

Re: MM Helper 1.0.1 (Play Date Manager+Advanced Rating+M3U2SPL)

Hey, ok, I tested the following method (works only for one added play per track): - enter +1 as new play count - set "last played date" as start and end time - hit "Synchronize" On my computer the app creates a new play and sets the last played date as date. Afterward the play co...

Re: Reorder tracks in an album

Is there a way to fix these wrong orders? Or will a future version of MM fix it?

Re: Reorder tracks in an album

Hey, ok, I found the problem: When searching MM displays the results in the database order. So most time all is displayed in the correct order track 1...9. But sometimes this order isn't right. I tried to change the sort order but it gets resetted each time you start MM. Can you understand my proble...

Re: New *basic* Script to insert fake plays from iPod

Hm, maybe Briannon who wrote this script, can help you. I can only say that my app has a function to refresh these play dates. So the last play and the last played date get synchronized. Every app on your computer could contain some malicious behaviour. But I don't want to argue with you about this....

Re: New *basic* Script to insert fake plays from iPod

Hi, the script also adds entries to the played table. The last played date and the date of the latest played item should be equal, aren't they? Or did I missunderstood your problem? Did you had a look at my play date manager? It's hard for me to give support for this Visual Basic script because I'm ...

Re: Run a script when synchronizing

Hey,
I also had the same thought and created a topic in the wishlist forum.

Would be great if someone has an idea. :)

Re: Question: Any Clix2 users outside?

Hey,
unfortunately I have to post some bad news.
I won't continue development of the tool for Clix2 because I will sell my player. It doesn't fit my needs.
Sorry for that,

Synching Album Artist & Colorization

Hey, when synching compilations to mp3 players you get problems when scrolling the players library via tags. E.g. you synchronized a compilation of 20 artists. Most (or all?) mp3 players don't understand the album artist tag and so on display every artist as single entry when browsing through artist...
