So Many Issues with 2.x Version [FIXED]
Huge MediaMonkey fan - and lifetime subscription owner since the 2.x days. The latest updates to MMA form 1.x to 2.x have left me deeply frustrated. If it helps, I'm running MM for Windows on my Windows PC. Have exceptionally well-curated FLAC files with high resolution cover art, details, lyrics - ...

Re: MM4 Keeps Stealing File Association Icons
Looks like it's a Portable Install. I don't have a regular install installed to confirm. Not a portable install. Has never been a portable install in 12 years of owning MM. I believe this is a Windows issue. With Win10, all file associations are handled (hijacked, you might say) by Windows. There i...

Re: MM4 Keeps Stealing File Association Icons
I thought that too. There's nothing to change there. And the Force File Associations checkbox is gone from there. It's not a portable install. Clicking the big "Associate File Types with MediaMonkey" button at the bottom opens a Windows 10 dialog that doesn't help. https://i.imgur.com/r9Mr...

MM4 Keeps Stealing File Association Icons
I'm updating my collection from MP3s to FLAC files and MediaMonkey is a huge part of doing this right. I've changed my MP3 file icons to a plain icon and FLAC files to a colorful media icon (C:\Windows\SysWOW64\wmploc.DLL,24) to distinguish the two from each other. But when I start MediaMonkey (late...

Cut & Paste all tag attributes
I'm slowing upgrading my MP3 collection to higher-quality versions of each track. Is it possible to cut the attributes (including album art) from one song and paste them in their entirety to another MP3 - essentially, copy all tag info to another? I see all of the editing features, but just can't se...

Crossfading for 1/2 second even when Crossfading Turned Off
Trying out the latest 3.0.1.1127 and I'm finding that songs are colliding with each other during playback when switching songs (clicking NEXT to get to next track). With the Crossfading option enabled, the crossfade is nice and expected. When I disable it, crossfading still occurs for about 1/2 a se...

Table of Contents of CD-ROM E: was not read successfully (0)
I searched the forums (Table AND Contents AND CD-ROM) and found ~6 posts with this error being caused by either a virtual CD-ROM device or was an issue with MM 2.5 - neither of which are the causes for my error. I'm seeing the same problem every time I start MM 3.0.1.1127 - which I'd like to fix bef...
