I'm travelling to India soon, and am considering jailbreaking my Iphone 3gs (still on OS4). How would this affect MM sync?

Like many of the contributors to this thread I've just bought a MacBook Air. Superb piece of kit :-) I have used MM under Ubuntu using Wine for quite some time now but I still have to use an XP machine to synch to my iPhone. I got PlayOnMac working with MM today and it works even better than it did...

I'm all over syncin my podcast subs from MM to my iphone. It works like a charm.

Cartalk sounds like Alvin and the Chipmonks. To be clear it's not quite that bad. But it's wierd.

The problem also happens with otner players.
I'm not so sure about the heat thing... the fans seldom come on.
I'm looking into getting my hard drive slimmed down, and will try other fixes involving ram.

Problem is even worse w/CD playback.

When I play a cd the sound cuts out and stutters. That nasty windows media player works fine on the same cd.
