Re: Purchasing an S24+ to replace my S22+.
For MediaMonkey I usually do fresh start. You could do a last Sync from the old device (to get Play History and tag changes), then setup a new Sync with the new device. You could do a last Sync with MM from the old device (to get Play History and tag changes) This part I don't understand exactly. S...

Purchasing an S24+ to replace my S22+.
I was about to purchase an S24+ to replace my S22+. Anyone recommend using Samsung's Smart Switch? Phone to phone? Start from scratch installing everything on the new phone?

Re: v3003 and DBPowerAMP CD Ripper
Thanks. That would do it. How is it that MM5 was able to grab album info if CD Ripper can't? Different database?Peke wrote: ↑Thu Mar 07, 2024 8:03 pm Hi,
Please note that both DBPowerAMP and AccurateRip.com sites are down ATM.

Re: v3003 and DBPowerAMP CD Ripper
Yes. It happens when MM is closed. That's why I wondered if something in MM was running in the background? It was just yesterday, I did a successful rip with CD Ripper.

[INFO] v3003 and DBPowerAMP CD Ripper differences
Is it possible that the latest beta v3003 could affect DBPowerAMP CD Ripper? I just used it yesterday - 1 day ago with no trouble. Now, it is hanging when I am trying rip a CD? Is it possible that there is some updated or new component(s) running in the background? Also, MM5 has no trouble recognizi...

Re: Connect MM5 edits to file tags
If you edit files in MediaMonkey it will save the changes to the files by default. This may have been disabled. If you're editing files in File Explorer you need to rescan to see these changes in MediaMonkey. This can be done automatically if you setup Folder Monitoring . Yes. I was aware of this. ...

Re: Connect MM5 edits to file tags
At times I have been able to edit tags in Windows Explorer or MM5 and no matter which way, the changes were reflected?

Re: File Names and Titles with track # is repeated
I am not sure exactly what you mean? This is the mask that use: "D:\iPod\My Music\<Album Artist>\[<Year>] <Album>\<Track #:2> - <Title>" It's been working fine so far. FYI. The <Year> is there to give me the ability to sort albums by release year. At the moment, this is just in Windows Exp...

Re: File Names and Titles with track # is repeated
Hi, Yes, most miss settings for Tag mask. When you click on mask press F1 and you should get more help. Well, it should be possible to remove numeric track numbers that are consistently 2 chars and space. i.e. 01 Track 1 where the Title was "01 Track 1" and should be "Track 1" a...

Re: File Names and Titles with track # is repeated
I ended up removing the numeric prefix by hand for each Title [tag]. And, then the file names just followed suit according to the default mask that I use . Thx for all your help. I could not figure out how to remove the numeric prefix from each Title as a group. Maybe I overlooked something in the d...

Re: File Names and Titles with track # is repeated
I am still having trouble getting the "01" [for example] removed from the Title [tag]? Once I get the Titles with the numeric prefix removed the rest will be easy.

File Names and Titles with track # is repeated
In the case of the Titles they have the track # at the beginning of each Title. The file names have repeat track #'s - for example: 01-01 One.mp3, 02-02 Two.mp3, etc. I hope this is not as confusing to others here? Ordinarily I would use Tag&Rename which would easily fix one or the other. Can MM...
