Re: [SOLVED] Suddenly can no longer verify rip with MediaMonkey Gold

Lowlander wrote: Fri Aug 21, 2020 3:19 pm Yes, MM5 also can use this.
For example, to use AccurateRip in MM5 would require some configuration beyond whatever the defaults are?

Peke wrote: Thu Jun 11, 2020 6:36 pm Hi,
It is very possible that there was some DNS issue on your ISP so www.accuraterip.com was not resolved correctly.

Anyway thx for update.
Can MM5 use this to rip CDs? I used to use DBPowerAMP which uses it.

Re: Beyoncé vs. Beyonce in Artist View

Lowlander wrote: Sun Aug 16, 2020 12:16 pm You explained already, you have the different values in the tags (Artist and Album Artist). You'll need to tag your files to use 1 value consistently for both Artist and Album Artist.
Ok, thx. I was wondering if there would be any reason for these tags to be different in a case like this.

Beyoncé vs. Beyonce in Artist View

Build 2264. I just noticed that in MM5 Artist View there are two entries just like in the subject line. They both point to the same folders/files. The folder for the artist is "Beyoncé" [with accent]. Is this normal behaviour? I explored both in Artist view and they seems to be identical? EDIT: I ch...

MM5 Bug Reports so far... [#15757][#15293]

I just went from Build 2252 to 2254. I must have missed 2253 or it was a very fast transition. Does this include album artwork when ripping a CD? Or, did I misread the above here?

Re: MMA keeps crashing and sending crash reports.

Build 933 of MediaMonkey for Android which was just released to beta (https://www.mediamonkey.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=21&t=89969) has a fix for this problem. A final release is hoped to be released today or tomorrow. [just to clarify] It was after updating to Build 933 that the crashes occurred. ...

Re: MMA keeps crashing and sending crash reports.

Galaxy A51, I Just updated both the Google app and MMA to the latest beta - 933. The first two times I opened MMA it stated that it crashed and I allowed it to send the log file. However, after the message about the crash, I was able to play a track. And, after these first two crashes, it appears to...

Re: Album Artist Missing -> Unknown Folder

That all depends. We have to assume a lot, but if you're building folder/filenames from tags (either Auto-Organize or Sync) then if you're using <Album Artist> in the Mask then it would make a difference. I [finally] did what I said above. In MM5, everything appears the same. Maybe this is at it sh...

Re: Rip CD [First time]

Until you associate an Artwork with files on the Album you may see an Artwork that MediaMonkey auto-associates, but this isn't saved to the files. Yes, right click in the Artwork tab area where Artworks are shown and Paste should be an option on the Context Menu. Using Lookup Image on the Artwork t...

Re: Rip CD [First time]

Google Chrome, right-click on image and choose "Copy Image". This is straight forward. In MM5, after choosing "Edit properties for multiple files", I can assume focus on the "Artwork" tab. The question is where to focus here before choosing "Paste"? At the top, there is "Image Type" [Cover (front) f...

Rip CD [First time]

This, https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Loud,_Fast_Ramones:_Their_Toughest_Hits , is my time ripping a CD using MM5 And, the first "Ramones" album in my collection. The only defaults I changed were the mask and choosing VBR Extreme. In MM5, both the Artist image and album image display OK. After doing a...

Re: Build 2252 Features I was not aware

1) Drag files or folders from File Explorer onto a root Collection node to add them to the Library. 2) Copy Artwork (an image) in a browser and Paste the Artwork in the Properties > Artwork tab. I just did a scan through all my albums in MMA. I thought that if I had something w/o album art there th...

Re: Build 2252 Features I was not aware

1) Still works on 2262 here, are you dropping on a root Collection node? 2) Still works on 2262 here, have you tried to restart MediaMonkey and which browser? Sorry. My wording was bad. I meant that I had not tried either of the above because I was not aware they were possible. I was just looking f...

Build 2252 Features I was not aware

1. "Cannot add files to the library via drag and drop"
2. "Can't paste Artwork from browser"

Can someone give me examples of both of the above? i.e. #2 was possible in Windows Media Player. You could "Copy" artwork in the browser and paste into WMP seamlessly.
