In MM4 I regularly use the
ExternalTools addon to open a song in some external applications (e.g. my ClippingAnalyzer or Audacity). Drag&Drop is no alternative because I would have to start the target program manually.
Probably it should be an easy task for a web developer to create an MM5 addon for the same?
I don't really know JavaScript and I'm afraid I don't have the time to dig into MM5 development.
I tried the VBS to JavaScript conversion on the ExternalTools code (with very low expectations), but the conversion crashed MM5.
It would be great if somebody was able to write such an addon or maybe give me some help for a little quick & dirty hack.
