MP3Tag can copy & paste full tags from one MP3 to another
Pay attention if the complete Tags are copied, or only the content.
ID3v..-Tags instead of vorbis in flac lead to a agonizingly slow start of a track in MM5 (up to 45sec.)

in addition to lowlanders advice: MP3Tag can copy & paste full tags from one MP3 to another; never tried flac, maybe it's worth a try.

This can do it in MediaMonkey 4: https://www.mediamonkey.com/forum/viewt ... nd+%26+fix

Something to do this in MediaMonkey 5 is in development.

Copying Tags from MP3 to FLAC

Dear Community,

is there a trick or MediaMonkey Plug in to transfer tags (like comments, composer, year ...) from MP3 to FLAC???

I have a huge MP3 collection with all kinds of tags for automated playlists but as my ears are getting more hungry I started to collect mainly FLAC Files.

The name of ALL files is <Interpret> - <Title> .mp3 or .FLAC

Especially important is the "comment" field, here I say eg. Deluxe, Brasil, chill, Masterpiece ... but copying these tags by hand would take years. Or, another loooooong lockdown :-)

Would be grateful if anybody has an idea!

Cheers from Vienna
