I don't know about that. I know most of the Android devices out there now were built as Android devices. With that said Android is a customized flavor of Linux so I don't want to say it is not possible, I just have no experience in this capacity.

No problem. If you have ANY problems at all don't hesitate to check our forums or our troubleshooting FAQ.

Our readme.txt contains instructions on how to get set up in Android.

MonkeyTunes for iPhone/iPod you need to be on a WIFI network. For Google Android I have never tried it over 3G but I don't think there is any restriction from using it that way. You just need to make sure you have your router punched through the firewall to allow outside access on TCP 3689 and UDP 5353. You can give it a try.

Wow, thanks, that MonkeyTunes is pretty awesome.

Everyone else should check out GMote 2.0 for a similar great idea.

Also would be great to have a remote server app for android like they have for winamp. I love media monkey, yet I've switched temporarily hoping Mediamonkey upgrades to these features, plug some win7 features too.

Also, wouldn't it be easy to use winampdroid for MM? It is open source, and I know MM is based on winamp, so I'm not a programmer but this doesn't seem like it would be too tough.

When I posted this I was referring more to what shevdog said then monyet. Although both would be nice, I am more interested on having my phone be able to play my library remotely from my computer.

Just got the new Archos 500gb Android and I whole heartedly third that! I would gladly buy another lifetime license to use on my portable. I love MM and would love it if I could take it anywhere.

Please, please, pretty please? I can has?

Posted this in someone else's forum but then it occurred to me that I should just post it in it's own. It would be great if I could play my MM library from my android phone. That is all.
