Thank you for your fast answer.

Meanwhile I found out myself how to do it.
One thing was odd though. I selected minimum 160 kbps and 320 kbps maximum and although there was plenty of room on the CD MM always produced 160 kbps.
This changed when I switched to 320 kbps minimum.

Cheers

quality of MP3 produced by on the fly conversion

Hello,

I am new to MM, looking for a replacement of iTunes. Right now my music library is in iTunes, most of it being 320 kb quality.
I also want to move from MP3 to lossless format, but need to burn MP3 CDs for my high end car CD player. To burn MP3 CDs with iTunes I needed to have it all in MP3 format already. When I realized that MM has the on the fly conversion I developed the idea to have my music library in FLAC and burn MP3 CDs for the car using that feature.

My first test was somehow disappointing as I was not able to make MM produce MP3 files on the CD that were of high quality (256 or 320 kb). The result sounded not bad, but was not as good with the 320 kb iTunes MP3s

Is there any setting to achieve that?

Any suggestion is welcome.
