I know this thread is EXTREMELY old, but Media Monkey IS available through Google play for android and DOES work on a chromebook.

Read it carefully (a glimpse into a possible future). For Android and in infancy stage. It is likely not even up to a decent beta level of quality.
I would think MM is way too sophisticated for it to handle at this point.

The Portable Install will only run on Windows, the Chromebook also doesn't seem to support Android Apps thus MediaMonkey for Android won't run either.

Would it be possible to run a portable USB mediamonkey install on a chromebook? Perhaps on a windows machine do the portable install to the usb drive, and then use that drive on a chromebook?

Is there still no version of MM for Chromebook users?

So, would it not run on a Chromebook?

Could you recommend a Media Monkey apk or alternative on a CB?

Hi there!

I am currently interested in buying a Google Chromebook and i understand the CB is all about being online on-the-box and that you can only buy/download apps via the Chrome Store or something.

my questions is is there a Media Monkey app or apk that i can download in the Chromebook so i can continue using the software to organise my music files?

tried looking for you there but i can't find you. or maybe i'm looking at the wrong location.

Thanks.
