1) This is very strange, I went through that process and the rescan still didn't find it. So I went to windows file explorer and noticed the folder for the album in question is set to "hidden" and windows won't let me change it. I'm the admin for my computer and the NAS so I'm not sure what the conflict is. I also have no idea how or when this one album folder was selected to be hidden, it's certainly nothing Ive ever done.
