There is not for MMW5. I suppose the alternative would be to use the Discog Tagger in MP3Tag.

Discogs Tagger 5.8.2?

Is the Discog Tagger add on available any longer, is there an alternative?

MediaMonkey 4 itself has no tagging capability (it lost this a long time ago), but it has been returned to MediaMonkey 5. Discogs tagging is a Third Party Addon available for MediaMonkey 4, but unfortunately its developer has not released an updated version of this Addon for MediaMonkey 5.

MM4 i way better when tagging. MM5 tag (MusicBrain) i fine with CD RIP, but auto-tag messes tings up. I have turned autotag off but still when i try to autotag/lookup tags it suggest crazy tags.
Using MM4 till u get this fixed!

Why no Discogs tagging add-on for MM%?

by Youngy93 » Sat Jan 28, 2023 8:21 am

I'm completely frustrated by using MM5 as I can't use the Discogs database... are there any plans for this? I may have to uninstall and go back to MM4...

FYI: You can choose from different CD editions by clicking the album like this: https://www.dropbox.com/s/2ivj5jsx7pttb ... 0.png?dl=0

Of course, this alternative is NOT a "Discogs-Tagger" where you can choose from different CD editions.
But you can motivate SVEN (crap_inhuman ), the inventor of the "Discogs-Tagger", to reprogram his addon for MM5.

I work on a version for MM5, but it won't be ready until next summer at the earliest.
Summer is not far away.

The poor accuracy of that function is my issue.
I second that, same issue I have with it.

Tag an album or single songs - then "Tools> Auto-tag" also works very well.

That's very helpful, thank you. MM5 needs a decent tagger but this certainly fills the gap in the interim.

When you select a song, arrows appear at "Title" and "Artist".

Here you can also select Discogs.

I've installed the addon but, unless I'm being thick, I don't understand how it works.
