I wanted to come back to this issue since this is the most urgent one if it comes to DJing with MM. I have two instances open, in one I search for tracks, align them, and then drag-and-drop them into the playing list of a second instance.
Having two MM4 open on a laptop while DJing, the layout was just perfect: on the upper half the playlists, the lower half the playing list. With the current layout in MM5, this becomes a nuisance, since I only can put the playing list in the side panel, which now runs along the whole height of the screen. You can imagine how little fields you can see if _two_ instances of MM5 are running side-by-side.
Please push this known issue ASAP, the layout of MM5 is not convenient for users that need 5 columns while playing at an event. Its mostly that the layout fields can currently populated by only one or two elements, the top or bottom panel accepts only the player, while the main panel is basically useless and not adaptable to DJ purposes.
