As you can see in Mantis it is fixed in 2503: https://www.ventismedia.com/mantis/view.php?id=18275

Hi Barry, tried to replicate and could quite get the same result. Did this get fixed in 2502? Or have I got some subtle setting different to yours?

There is a bug in the AlbumArtist sub-node of the Media tree, when "Show All Modes", and "Focus Tree Nodes" options are set on.

This is separate and additional to Peke's observation here looking at when the Media Tree panel is closed.

When the Media Tree panel is open, the "Focus Tree Nodes" is creating a new duplicated tree leaf in the Media Tree, when it should be scrolling to the already existing tree leaf.
AFAICS this affects the AlbumArtist sub-node only.

See here.

Prior to the illustrated test, I had done two earlier tests with Elbow, and Pat Metheny.
Following the test (The Kinks) I now have three duplicated leafs in the EntireLibrary>AlbumArtist tree.

The extra leafs disappear when I restart MM5
