Do you have "Resume play on connection" enabled in the MMA options?

I have a OnePlus 8T that is paired with my 2015 Nissan Altima. The phone has the latest MM for Android.
I have 2 similar issues:
[list=]When I switch the car audio to Aux, it appears to connect to the paired phone, however it does not play. I have to press play on the phone to get music going.[/list]
[list=]I listen to music and then turn off the car. When I turn it back on again, there's no music until I press play on the phone.[/list]
Note that MM is set as the default music app on the phone.
Any ideas how to fix this?
