Correct, MediaMonkey 5 uses a different Skinning engine, thus MediaMonkey 4 Skins are not compatible. The Help is also version specific.

thanks, I realize that my new installation is MM5 whereas my old installation was MM4, hence my issues. My old skin is not shown on the link you gave me but MM5 is now useable.

You can change the Skin to the same one you were using before: https://www.mediamonkey.com/wiki/WebHel ... g_the_Skin

Thank you - on installing MM it seems to have picked up the folders ok at first sight, but the appearance of MM is awful with terrible colours and clunky icons - that's what I want to restore as priority - can you help with this please?

See: https://www.mediamonkey.com/wiki/index. ... w_computer

However I'd just take the database file and then re-assign the drives: https://www.mediamonkey.com/wiki/WebHel ... edia_Files

MM Restore settings

Hello, I've just installed MM onto a new Windows 64 computer running next to my old Windows 64 computer. How may I backup my MM settings on the old computer and restore to my new computer?

Thanks!

Kai
