To manage duplicates: https://www.mediamonkey.com/wiki/WebHel ... icates/5.0

I don't know what you've done, so I can't comment on what you should do. However you do need a physical copy on your PC of files on a CD to be able to play the CD without it being inserted in the PC.

Thanks

In terms of not having duplicates synced to my device/ in my library, I just need to delete anything that isn't MP3? Or will that also stop me from being able to play the track without the CD inserted?

VirtualCD has been removed from MediaMonkey 5, so Ripping is the method to add CD's to your MediaMonkey Library: https://www.mediamonkey.com/wiki/WebHel ... om_CDs/5.0

You can catalogue, but then you won't be able to play the CD without it being inserted in the PC: https://www.mediamonkey.com/wiki/WebHel ... ibrary/5.0

Adding music from CDs

Morning!

I spent yesterday ripping a load of CDs to MM (latest version) and then realised I had duplicates in my library.

I read online I should use the virtual CD, but I can't locate that anywhere in tools.

So I deleted the CD file from the library and kept the MP3 version- but is this the best way? I have 100s more CDs to copy over
