I have personally experienced this on occasion, but only during moments when something goes wrong with the interface (during beta testing, e.g., when the program was about to crash).
Few questions, to figure out what's going on:
1) Did you experience this for a long period of time? E.g., for several minutes while MM was open?
2) Does it happen
every time you open MM?
3) When it happens, and you have Task Manager open, do you see MediaMonkey taking up a large percentage of your CPU?
4) What CPU does your computer have? (Open Task Manager, switch to the Performance tab, and click CPU. You'll see the brand and model number here:
