No, Collections aren't shown on MMA. So only the files for the selected Collection should be on MMA.

So Playlists will Sync as Playlists and their files, whereas Collections will only sync their files. In other words Collections have no benefit for Sync, they have a benefit in MMW by presenting the sub-structure of Artists, Albums, etc.; whereas Playlists only present a file list in MMW.

As you can see on the screen, I have selected the Soul collection. However, this does not appear on the tablet at all. I only see my playlists. I am assuming that not only the playlists are shown to me, but also the collection. I have a custom view on MMA only with genre, playlists maybe that's because of that.

Selecting a Collection would only Sync the files matching the Collection, ie. on the device you'd just find the files belonging to the Collection. Are you saying when you browse Genre = Soul on the device the files that are shown browsing the Soul Sammlung on MMW are missing?

Out of curiosity I created a collection with the genre "Soul". I would like to synchronize this with the Galaxy Tab S7 +. In the settings of the external devices, I also selected these. But it doesn't get through to the tablet.

All other playlists are perfectly synchronized, only the collections are not.

I don't understand the difference between auto playlists and collections either
