This is exactly what I was looking for
adding ":3" and playing with the numbers :)
Should be explained somewhere tho'

But I love this thanks !

@Soaresden

Menu TOOLS> Auto-organize files: MOVE OR COPY new Path OR same Path.
I recommend as file name: <Track#:3> - <Title> - <Artist> - <Album>
This means you have all the relevant data in the file name and there is no confusion with cover songs or remix recordings.

<Track#:3> ... ... 3= digits
<Track#>=99 then <Track#:3>=099
<Track#>=8 then <Track#:3>=008

Hi Soaresden,

I would make the edits in MMW4 using the RegExp Find and Replace add-on and then rescan the library into MMW5.

Personally I would keep the Disc number to 1 digits (unless you have CD collections with more than 9 CDs) but make the Track # 3 digits.

You will find in RegExp Find and Replace a "right click" menu option "Track and Disc Numbers" and the sub-option "Add Leading Zeros to Get 3 Digit Track Number"

Using MMW4 together with MMW5 is a great way to get the best out of MMW5.

Hi,

Now that's MM5 is released, I remind this suggestion.

Because of CD with more than 100 titles, I would want to clean my files with leading zero no matters the size of the album

001-title.mp3
019-title.mp3
125-title.mp3

Thanks!

It has not yet been created for MediaMonkey 5.

Has this made it into MM5 - 5.0.1 (latest as of today - 05-22-2021)? I've been unable to find it? This is a great feature and almost a 'must have' for me. I'd certainly be interested in it's addition if not already added. If it has been added, I can't find it anywhere.

Features in 5.0 won't be extended, but this could be in 5.0.1. I see, you have some different version of auto-increment script, could you send me a copy? It has more features than only adding leading zero, maybe it would be good to add the rest too to the next version? I would enter it as feature request for 5.0.1.

Hi,

Finally I think I can move from v4 to v5 because of this feature !
But it still not as I wanted ...

In fact, I would like to add some '0' before the number just to have a great alignment in my folders.

Here the feature that have to be updated:

In MM4, I had an extension and modified it to be able to do add it as show in the video.
I would like to see it on future updates

Many thanks !
