Do you have Tools > Options > Auto-Organize enabled or did you use Tools > Auto-Organize Files? With the latter make sure it's not set to Copy instead of Move.

Which version of MediaMonkey?

Hi,
You should always avoid renaming tracks outside MM as there is no way to tell MM if new file is just rename or actual file. I guess one of those do not play?

You should edit title in MM and then use Auto-Organize to update filename if needed, otherwise just delete non playing track from library.

HINT: Pressing F1 on Destination mask will give you help on how to format it correctly to your needs. By your example I guess that ".\<title>" would be enough.

Renaming causes duplicates

Hi all,
After renaming a track title adding the string (ftun 1) to the title, I've found it duplicate in the library with same name, size, bitrate, etc.
The only difference between the tracks is their path.

The original path is:
C:\Users\682291\Music\iTunes\iTunes Media\Music\4tunes\Ibiza Sunset (Chillout Del Mar Cafe)\Where Are You Now.mp3

The duplicate track is:
C:\Users\682291\Music\iTunes\iTunes Media\Music\4tunes\Ibiza Sunset (Chillout Del Mar Cafe)\Where Are You Now (ftun 1).mp3

How can I avoid this issue by renaming a track?
Thanks
I.W.
