We're definitely still interested in any help translating to Italian or any of the other languages that aren't yet translated.

SanMarc, I've reached out directly to you via email. Sorry for the long delay.

fyi, for those of you who are done, there are 6 strings to be updated (note: in weblate it looks like some needed strings are being replaced--that's not the case).

Hopefully there won't be any more changes for 5.0.

Thanks!

Note: if you're currently seeing various Collection/Playlist nodes in English even though you've translated them, it's because you initially ran MediaMonkey in English (and the DB was created in English). To see all nodes translated, delete your database (in your MediaMonkey Directory \Portable\MM5.db --THIS WILL DELETE YOUR ENTIRE LIBRARY) and restart MediaMonkey.

Also, fyi, we've gotten rid of a couple of duplicate strings, and fixed a few strings based on your feedback. The following translation issues will also be resolved in the next build 2277.

Hi,

We're using Weblate a web-based tool along with machine translation, so it should be easier/faster than the system used in the past--especially if multiple translators work on a single language.

You can find translation instructions here.

If you love MM and are interested in translating it to your language, please let us know by replying to this thread (although you can set up a new Weblate account on your own, we have to grant you 'translator' rights).

Thanks!

-Rusty

p.s. the following languages require updates, and we'd love to add any other languages that don't appear on the list (square brackets indicate a committed translator, curly brackets show status):
Africaans [DanieV]
Danish
Finnish
Hindi
Croatian
Hungarian [Bogaromi]
Italian
Norwegian
Portuguese
Russian [UksusoFF]
Sinhalese
Slovakian
Serbian
Swedish
Vietnamese
Mandarin Chinese Simple/Traditional
Mandarin Chinese Traditional

---The following languages have been completed------------------

Dutch [Hans & Lowlander]
French [Rusty] {complete--reviewer wanted}
German [onkel_enno, deremder, stormi]
Greek [PanagiotisP]
Japanese
Korean [pCsOrI]
Portuguese (Brasilian) [Gege]
