Sorry — I'm on Windows 10 with MM4.1.19.1859. I did try a Complete Optimization, to no effect.

I ended up just installing and starting from scratch. I kept my database, but reinstalled scripts, extensions, etc. I didn't bring over my settings, which may have been what caused the Restore delay, and instead went through all the settings again from scratch.

At any rate, that seems to have worked and Restore behaves as expected. Thanks for the response!

Which version of MediaMonkey and Windows? Have you recently tried File > Maintain Library with Complete Optimization enabled? If not, try that.

Issue: MM starts up and opens fine and seems to play fine. I have it set to minimize to tray. After it is minimized, it lags while opening after double-clicking (or right-click > Restore) on the icon. This started today.

Restore still lags after several reboots.

It Restores fine from the tray with a clean install. Once I replace my MM database, it lags again. The database is about 175MB, nothing huge.

I've tried renaming Scripts and Extensions, but it still lags on Restore.

Any thoughts on what might be causing this?
