NO NO NO,
unfortunately this did not worked for me and i tested it with 3 WinXP nachines.
There is Greek support within the database, - with or without this registry change - when importing files, the tags are correct - BUT, at every try to manage these files
(move - copy - copy to virtual cd - auto rename etc)
the filenames of the destination files are not correct.
The strange thing is that the tags are correct and also part of the filename
is ok too, only some characters are wrong.
To be more specific - an example :
When copy to virtual cd the song : MESA STH BOYH TOY DROMOY
(where whith blue color are special greek characters), the destination file
looks like this (in windows explorer) :
EEOA OTH BOYH TOY DROEOY
(where with red are the wrong characters, and with green and black are
the correct characters).
As you can see :
[M] (same on greek and english) become [E]
the Greek [S] become [O]
the Greek [D] and [R] are Ok
(the Greek [R] looks like [P])
and so on.
Another strange thing is that the same filename
appear Ok within the
database->virtual cd when using the file properties (alt+enter)
but not ok in windows explorer.
Please think about add an option to let the user to choose
the fonts, maybe this be the answer for all fonts problems.
Thanks again.
