Just got my new iPod classic 160G and found it very annoying to go through the long album list to get the wanted album. MediaMonkey supports nested playlists, but it cannot sync them to iPod. I found several post in this forum talking about this feature.

There are solutions out there talking about how to handle the problem of long-list and let iTunes control your library. But I want my folder structure back!
Of course, we cannot browse the music in iPod like we do in the explorer, so structured playlists is the way to go.
I use MediaMonkey to manage all of my music. And the script "Export M3Us/Create Playlists for Child Nodes"
http://solair.eunet.rs/~zvezdand/Export ... bNodes.htm can generate the structured playlists in the way I want for the whole library. The next step is to sent them to iPod and keep the structure.
The only reason I bear with iTunes is that it supports playlist folders which makes the structured browsing possible. It is also very frustrating to manually sort lots of playlists into their folders. So, I wrote a script to automatically generate these playlists and folders according to their locations in the file system. But I will drop the crappy iTunes as soon as MM supports this feature.
Any plan for this feature? Any reference for how to do so? If possible, I'll go through the trouble to make it, even though I'm not a programmer.
Thanks.
