Tools > Options > Output Plug-ins for the enabled output plugin disable Crossfading, you may also want to disable Silence Removal.

There is an option in the player settings called "Crossfade" make sure that's turned off.

when I play tracks in MM, there is not a pause between songs, in fact the following track starts prior to the current track finishing! How do I stop this?? :roll:
