You can delete the following to get a clean start:

Internal memory: /MediaMonkey and /Playlists
External SDcard: /MediaMonkey and /Playlists
App Manager: choose MediaMonkey and then 'Clear data'
MediaMonkey for Windows: Tools > Options > Portable devices > , then delete your device to get rid of the existing profile

Awesome thanks Rusty just what I wanted to hear.

One more question, is there a quick way to wipe the MMA media data completely?
When I swap SD cards, I usually wipe the "Media Storage" data from Android, and rescan.
This usually wipes all references to my media files and re-indexes them.

However MMA seems to keep orphans, even after the Media Storage Wipe.

A "Clear Database" command would be nice. Or if I knew which file to delete that would work too :)

1) Ratings in widgets is on the todo list (for a future version). Tracked at http://www.ventismedia.com/mantis/view.php?id=10711
2) Import of ratings can only currently work via Sync, at least until we implement ID3 support within MMA (rather than relying solely on Android's media scanner). WiFi Sync to GS3 is working well for me--though there are still a couple of open issues re. USB sync which we hope to resolve prior to release.

USB Sync has never worked for me, Galaxy S3 Phone, i have been trying many many many avenues, mostly documented in this post :

http://www.mediamonkey.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=66514

Bottom line for me USB sync with my phone does not work.

But it shouldn't make a difference either way, the problem remains the same :
How do I get ID3 ratings into MMA for files that have been loaded onto the phone/microSD through any manner?

Why not USB sync with the card in the phone?

Thanks for the quick reply Lowlander.

As per #3, i could figure it out, this was a pure Android thing, nothing to do with MMA.

And yes, #2 that is what happens. I sync from MMW to my MicroSD, then insert the MicroSD into my phone, MMA finds all my music (I think its Androids Media Manager which does the lifting here), but I don't see ratings.
I figure that this is simply the way it would be, and unless I either sync wirelessly through MMA it wont work.

Hence my asking for an option to import media stats for files that have not been synched my MMA itself.

2) Are you saying you don't see Ratings using that method?
3) This is set in Options, are you saying it doesn't work?

Kudos to the team, i hadnt checked MMA for a while and was pleasantly surprised when downloaded the latest version yesterday.
Certainly came a long way since I last tried a couple of months back.

I have a couple of small features that I am looking for, forum searches have yielded no results so apologies if this has been addressed before.

1. Is if possible to add rating stars to the larger widgets? There certainly is enough room on the larger ones (4x2 and up) and it makes it more efficient than first opening the player and then rating.
2. Can there be an option to Import Ratings, i.e. i sync my music directly from MMW to a microSD, which then gets used in the phone. It would be ideal to have an option to "import" the id3 ratings into MMA. Other players do support such a method (PlayerPro for example), i understand that he wireless sync will do that for me automatically, but I do prefer my method of synching for reasons external to MMA / MMW.
3. On android 4.3 I cant find a way to get the widget on the lock screen, is there a way to get that done?
