One way around that would be to add a feature in the next version to allow the "now playing" list on MM4 to be synced to MMA. This would fix the problem because "now playing" can be configured to delete songs from its playlist as they are played.

The current playing file isn't synced between MMW and MMA, so MMW can't change that on MMA.

The wireless sync between my MMW 4.1.11 Gold (Win 10) on PC and MMA on Samsung S5 works flawlessly.

One question though...

I wonder if there is a way to make the last song played update based on the last device used.

For example, if I synced a playlist, and the last song played on my PC was song 4, and the last time I used the Android, it was on song 1, then the android device sync should update the Android "current song" to the last song played on the Win PC, song 4. But it does not. It stays on song 1.

I tried checking the "bookmark song" option in MM4 on the PC, but the song information does not update. Any suggestions? thanks!

Same thing syncing here with Android. Playlists are showing, but empty of songs. I started with just one playlist only and the songs/albums sync and show in the device, however, the playlist appears but it is empty. Also having some issues with album art making it to the device during sync.

Using Gold Paid version on computer (pc) and just last night downloaded MM app for Android to try out. (Motorola Droid Ballistic).

At this point, I can get things to sync (takes many attempts but ultimately it works). However, my playlists and meta data only sync one way (PC to Android) they do NOT sync android to PC even though I have the option checked off to do so. Not sure what else to do.

I want to be able to update my playlists on my phone and transfer those updates to my computer. Is this not possible?

I've now spent an absurd amount of time trying to figure this out....sync does not seem to work correctly with my Android JB Note Edge (Note 4) no matter what I do.

I managed to get basic syncing to work after many attempts (I don't do anything different, I just keep hitting sync and eventually it catches). Now that my files are on my phone, I wanted to sync my playlists but no matter what I do, I have a variety of issues....Hopefully it is user error and you can direct me

#1) Playlists seem hit/miss on whether they copy over to my phone. I clearly have several playlists selected, I hit sync, it finishes syncing but...only 1 or 2 of my playlists copy over 90% of the time. (It works about 10% of the time; I just have to keep doing it over and over until I get lucky)

#2) The MMW phone listing is wrong re: playlists. It simply doesn't show them. For example, after several attempts I got MMW to sync 10 playlists to my phone. However MMW under the phone's playlists settings sometimes shows 1 playlist and other times doesn't even show a "playlist" category at all.

And yes, I have tried with/without the "sync playlists" option in the MMW device settings.
And yes, the playlist files ARE on my phone but still don't show up in MMW when I connect my phone to pc (USB)

#3) Sync, when it does work, only goes PC -> Android.

For example: After a sync, I listen to a song on my phone; I rate the song; and I add the song to a playlist (said playlist is synced from my computer). Then I plug my phone back to my PC and sync again.

What it SHOULD do: Add +1 play count, add my rating from the phone to the PC library, and update the playlist on the PC (basically take the stats from the uses on the phone and transfer them to the pc).

What it DOES do: Simply resyncs my PC playlist to my phone. In other words, it removes the song from the playlist, it removes the rating of the song, and it removes the playcount.

NOTE: Having repeated this technique probably 50 times last night; at some point it did transfer my rating from the phone to the pc, but it still transferred the playlist from the pc to the phone (erasing the phone's updated playlist).


Can someone help?
