yep but it's got to be something else as now the password is kept and its told yes but the email client still can't pickup email?
just might be the dialup that it don't want to use anymore?

but it's working online just lots harder to get to for mom with her hand having a steel plate in it she broke it in a fall some time ago that's why I was trying so hard to get the simple one click client working.
thanks for the help and concern. but this is finished. 8)

Funny how it usually works out like that. Work on it forever then when you finally move past it, everything decides that it's going to start working again haha. At least it all worked out in the long run!

Well the update was blocked by firewall setting stopping a svhost file getting out.
The email seems to be the popup to remember password for email was checked no by mom when it popped up
Now it's not popping up so I can change it.

Does anyone have any ways to get that long yellow alert on the bottom of the screen to pop up and ask to save the password again? :-?

You can't receive updates now because apparently you are no longer connected/online? Does the connection dialog in the tray indicate that you are
connected to anything?
Yeah that's strange I'm connected at 49.2kpbs and I get other downloads from majorgeeks or other websites to load it's just slow as all get out. Can't download with the download manager any faster than 4769/Bps use to get 5kbps on dial up to the same isp server. But it is online when it tells me the error. Just a strange thing so it is. :-?

Yeah, that's what I meant. Unless, you have your email set to stay logged in just simply by getting online?

They might want you to log in again for security reasons.
...but sorry, not a Hotmail/Live person.
Yeah I'm online and the login from the email live is not working.?!
Wonder if it means to login to email online then do the 2nd sign in?

It's off topic but I can't find out what is going on with it. I'm not able to pick up my Hotmail with windows live mail on the win 7 machine keeps telling me to login when I'm online after I click the sign in button.
Does anyone here know why it's doing that?

Thanks.
