As the family librarian and administrator for all things digital, I am wondering if it possible to exclude a specific file format from the duplicate listing?
As I rip my CD’s, I essentially keep two sets of music collections, FLAC and MP3.
FLAC format for archiving and local playing and MP3’s those that I don’t have FLAC files and for the small arsenal of portable players that my family uses (iPod, Palm TX, Sandisk Sansa, iTouch).
During the winter months I find myself spending time cleaning up my collection by removing duplicate and lower bitrate files. Sorry, I’m not a fan of keeping complete albums. I only retain distinct versions of songs.
Anyhow, as I use the Duplicate Titles link with MM, I would like to quickly filter out the FLAC or MP3, but not remove them from my library.
Any suggestions?
Thanks
