Extension File Name Folder Error

Post by Phillip Croxford »

Hi,

I seem to have an issue with Ripping Discs to specific folders.
I want to set the folders to C:\Music\Extension\Artist\AlbumName\Songname.mp3

for example.

im ripping my cd to a mp3 so ive set the <Extension> filename format in Subdirectories but the folder shows up as CDA
C:\Music\CDA\Pet Shop Boys\Please\Two Divided by Zero.mp3
same if i rip into FLAC.

** Additional, I would prefer the CDA to show up as MP3 or FLAC or as encoded

am i doing something wrong or is it a bug?
im using the latest version 4.1.29.1910 and have purchased a Lifetime Licence,

Any help would be appreciated
Thanks

Hi,
No, you are not doing anything wrong. Only thing is that Destination mask is applied for original/source filename not destination format. So after RIP wyou simply use Auto-Organize on all tracks with same mask and you will get them in right folders.
